When I try to start Klear (V0.5 on Ubuntu 7) I recieve the following error message:
CKlearAppFileException
line 514...CKlearEngineXine.cpp...funtion CKlearEngineXine::play.
line 303...CKlearEngineXine.cpp...funtion CKlearEngineXine::EnginePlayStream
line 758...CKlearControllerMain.cpp...funtion CKllearControllerMain::slotPushQueue
When I click OK the plash is still visable and the klear process is running (but can be killed). When I try to start it again it terminates with "failed opening DVB device".
What can be the reason for that?
Thanks! |

Hi,
I also get this error but only when using specific channels. As there is no initial scan file available for my city (and w_scan didn't work properly) I generated my channels.conf based on de-Berlin. From the 8 channels I have in my channels.conf 1-4 are working well, but with 5-8 I get the error described here.
The data for my channel 5-8 is probably wrong, but I think klear should not crash because of it.
Regards
J.
